PartyThingz.com Rental Policy
1. Rental Period
All rentals are based on a standard one-day (24-hour) period unless otherwise stated. Extended rentals are available upon request and must be arranged in advance. Late returns may incur additional daily charges.
2. Reservations & Deposits
To secure your rental, a non-refundable deposit of 25% (or as otherwise specified) is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of pickup or delivery. Items are not considered reserved until payment and signed agreement are received.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations made:
More than 7 days before the event will receive full credit (minus deposit) toward future rentals.
Within 7 days of the event date may forfeit the full deposit.
Within 48 hours of the event date may be charged the full rental amount.
4. Delivery & Pickup
PartyThingz.com offers delivery and pickup services for an additional fee based on distance and order size. Standard delivery includes drop-off at a single, ground-level location. Additional labor fees may apply for stairs, long carries, or setup/takedown services.
5. Customer Pickup
Customers who choose to pick up rentals are responsible for securing all items safely during transport. PartyThingz.com is not liable for damage to customer vehicles or rental items once they leave our facility.
6. Damage, Loss, or Theft
The renter is responsible for all rented items from the time of delivery or pickup until they are returned. Charges will apply for:
Lost or stolen items (replacement cost)
Damaged or missing parts
Excessive cleaning (food, wax, tape residue, etc.)
A cleaning and inspection fee may apply for heavily soiled or damaged items.
7. Weather Policy
PartyThingz.com is not responsible for weather-related issues. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or damages caused by inclement weather. Customers are encouraged to have alternate plans or event insurance.
8. Equipment Setup & Use
Certain items (e.g., inflatables, tents, concession machines) may require professional setup by PartyThingz.com staff. Customers are expected to use all rental items safely and according to provided instructions. Improper use voids any liability coverage.
9. Liability
PartyThingz.com assumes no responsibility for injury, damage, or loss caused by the use or misuse of rental items. The renter agrees to hold PartyThingz.com harmless from any claims arising from their event or rental use.
10. Cleaning & Return Condition
All rented items must be returned clean and in the same condition as received. Additional fees will be charged for:
Uncleaned food equipment or linens
Missing accessories (e.g., cords, covers, straps)
Wet or muddy items
11. Payment Methods
We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and approved business checks. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
12. Agreement
By signing the rental agreement or submitting payment, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of this Rental Policy.
